Michaela Radoušová graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague where she received a Master’s (Mgr.) degree in law in 1998. In 2002, she passed the bar examination and was registered in the Czech Bar Association’s list of attorneys-at-law.

In 2012, Michaela completed the Conflict Resolution through Mediation training course organised by the Association of Mediators of the Czech Republic, followed by a mediation accreditation certificate granted by the Czech Mediator Association. In 2013, she completed a practical course on the Improvement of Mediation Skills at the Faculty of Law of Palacký University Olomouc and the Mediation and Mediation Techniques training course organised by the Czech Bar Association. She also attended the Negotiation Course hosted by Thierry Garby, the Model Mediation Situation Workshop, and Family Mediation Workshop organised by the Association of Mediators of the Czech Republic.

In October 2013, Michaela Radoušová passed the State examination in mediation and was registered as a mediator in the list of mediators maintained by the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic.

From 2017 to 2019, she served as a member of the Council of Association of Mediators of the Czech Republic.

Michaela Radoušová is a founding member of the Mediation Centre Brno.

EXPERIENCE

From 1998 to 2009, Michaela Radoušová worked as a trainee attorney-at-law and later as associated attorney-at-law at a law firm listed as one of THE LEGAL 500. From 2009 to 2013, she worked as a senior attorney-at-law for a prominent Czech law firm.

In her practice, Michaela has built experience in the area of real estate law, intellectual property law, advertisement and marketing law, contracts management and dispute resolution. She has provided legal assistance to renowned clients in the area of public relations during advertising campaigns, marketing events, competitions and presentations. Michaela also gained ample experience in representing clients before civil courts and is experienced in providing consultancy to housing co-operatives and associations of unit owners.

Over her entire career as an attorney-at-law, Michaela has been specialising in family and matrimonial law. In her legal practice, she relies on her extensive experience as a mediator, reflecting the fundamental nature of family law as a multidisciplinary area. Michaela provides legal services also in those family and matrimonial law cases which have an international element (including family law of foreigners) and in cases of international child abductions.

Michaela has given lectures to managers and employees of corporate clients, as well as to accountants and tax advisors.

Michal Ptáček graduated from the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University with a Master’s (Mgr.) degree in law in 2005. During his studies, he specialised in civil procedure, criminal law and commercial law. In 2002 and 2003, he studied international and European law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lapland (Lapin Yliopisto), Finland. In 2010, he passed the graduation examination at the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University and received the Doctor of Law (JUDr.) degree. In the same year, he also passed the bar examination and was registered in the list of attorneys-at-law kept by the Czech Bar Association.

EXPERIENCE

Between 2003 and 2005, Michal worked as a trainee lawyer for a Czech-Austrian law firm, focusing on contractual and corporate matters of Czech and foreign clients. In 2005, he completed a three-month work placement at the British law firm Penningtons Solicitors LLP (now Penningtons Manches Cooper LLP) as a member of a team dealing with disputes and foreigners’ law. Between 2005 and 2008, he worked as an assistant to the presiding judge of the criminal division of the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic. He helped prepare decisions on extraordinary remedies in criminal cases and decisions in the area of international legal transactions.

He has practiced the legal profession as an attorney-at-law since 2008. Michal has had ample experience with representing clients in judicial, enforcement and arbitral proceedings. From 2010 to 2013, he worked as a junior attorney-at-law in a prominent Czech law firm. Michal managed contractual matters for corporate clients and helped optimise corporate government structures. He also provided legal advice to managements and legal services relating to internal operations of corporate clients, changes in their ownership structure, and labour-law matters. He also contributed to the provision of legal services to local governments and voluntary associations of municipalities.

Michal Ptáček has successfully represented Czech and foreign clients in court proceedings with an international element and has given lectures to managers and employees of corporate clients, as well as to accountants and tax advisors. He has also taught several preparatory courses for university applicants interested in the study of humanities.

Radovan Čech graduated from the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University, receiving a Master’s (Mgr.) degree in law in 2006. During his studies, he specialised in civil law, civil procedure and criminal law.
